Text Box: Multi State Bail Bond Agency with Administrative Offices in Flint Michigan is Looking for Individuals to Support Underwriting Operations A successful Candidate will possess previous experience in Insurance Sales, Insurance Underwriting, Insurance Customer Service, “Outside” Sales, law office, court, law enforcement agency, or similar occupations where processing paperwork and taking a high volume of calls comprised a major portion of the duties of the position . Candidates must have a pleasant, pleasing, and vibrant sales/customer service oriented personality with excellent communication skills and with the ability to pay close attention to detail in a working environment. Must be deadline and teamwork oriented. Must be able to focus on work at hand. Must have strong MS Office, specifically MS Word, MS Excel, MS Internet Explorer, superb internet, computer and phone skills. The ability to multi-task and quickly analyze information for critical decisions is essential. If your are selected for an initial interview, you will be asked, prior to the interview, to complete a skill assessment in the following area: General Office, Computer & Internet Skills, Basic Office Math, Office Filing, Email Etiquette, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, typing and data entry skills as well as inbound phone call etiquette. These skill tests may be administered in our office, at a third party location such as a college or university, or by emailing a link to you after a short telephone interview. If you do not have strong skills in the above mentioned areas, you will not be eligible for employment. The Candidate must also be willing and able to obtain a Michigan Limited Lines Property & Casualty Insurance license by the end of 30 days of employment by successfully passing the Michigan Office of Financial & Insurance Services Limited Lines Property & Casualty Insurance Licensing test. Failure to obtain license will result in termination. We will assist you in ordering study materials and setting up the state licensing test and we will pay the upfront cost of these items however, you will be required to reimburse us these costs should you fail to obtain your license, or terminate your employment with the agency before working for six (6) continuous months as scheduled. (Total around $350. This training and testing is provided by outside companies.) Must not have any previous criminal history – No Exceptions. Because the bail bond business is so time sensitive, all bond calls must be handled in an efficient and expeditious manner or the potential client will go to a competitor. They won’t wait until tomorrow or the next day to obtain the needed bail bond. Scheduled hours will include afternoons, evenings and weekends. An Underwriter must be able to work flexible 8 + hour shifts with floating, last minute, ending times giving the Underwriter the ability to stay after the scheduled end of shift until all new client files opened for the day have been resolved.
