is Looking for Individuals to Support Underwriting Operations

 

 

A successful Candidate will possess previous experience in Insurance Sales, Insurance Underwriting, Insurance Customer Service, “Outside” Sales, or similar occupations. Candidates must have a pleasant, pleasing, and vibrant sales/customer service oriented personality with excellent communication skills and with the ability to pay close attention to detail in a working environment. Must be deadline and teamwork oriented.  Must be able to focus on work at hand.

 

Must have strong MS Office, specifically MS Word, MS Excel, MS Internet Explorer,  superb  internet and computer skills. The ability to multi-task and quickly analyze information for critical decisions is essential.  If granted an initial interview and you are asked to return for a follow-up interview, you will be “tested” to determine your MS Office, Internet, and overall computer skill level.  If not proficient, you will not be eligible for employment.

 

The Candidate must also be willing and able to obtain a Michigan Limited Lines Property & Casualty Insurance license by the end of 90 days of employment by successfully passing the Michigan Office of Financial & Insurance Services Limited Lines Property & Casualty Insurance Licensing test.  Failure to obtain license will result in termination. We will assist with study materials and setting up state licensing test.

 

Must not have any previous criminal history – No Exceptions.

 

Because the bail bond business is so time sensitive, all bond calls must be handled in an efficient and expeditious manner or the potential client will go to a competitor.  They won’t wait until tomorrow or the next day to obtain the needed bail bond.  Scheduled hours will include afternoons, evenings and weekends.  An Underwriter must be able to work flexible 8 + hour shifts with floating, last minute, ending times giving the Underwriter the ability to stay after the scheduled end of shift until all new client files opened for the day have been resolved.
